Treasurer Tate Reeves issues statement regarding Senator Lott’s resignation
Jackson, Miss. (November 26, 2007) – Over the past 35 years, Senator Trent Lott has demonstrated tremendous leadership on behalf of our state and country. He has been an extraordinary asset for our country and an exemplary example of service for Mississippi. On a more personal note, Senator Lott was very helpful in my first campaign in 2003, and I will always appreciate his willingness to support Elee and me. I wish him and his family all the best as he approaches the next phase in his life.
